An ancient burial site or sacred place. Bobkalnis is a round, 27 m diameter, 1.5 m high hill between cultivated fields that protruded "like a hat" in a flooded valley in the spring.

Fearful of ghosts, 1915 a wooden cross was built, the villagers gathered here during the Days of the Cross (late April) and prayed for good weather for the crops.
