This sculpture depicts one of the characters from M. Martinaitis' Kukutis' Ballads. Its author, D. Repeika, created it using a stone that had lain in this spot for many years. A massive ear is carved into the stone, and inside it hides a small sculpture of a mare. On the opposite side of the stone, an excerpt from the ballad "The Mare in Kukutis' Ear" is engraved.
