In addition to the oldest wooden synagogue in Lithuania, the other surviving important building of the current city is the former Pakruojis fire station. The uniqueness of the building is illustrated by the fact that a replica of the Pakruojis fire station is exhibited in the Rumšiškės Folk Museum.
