Citizens of Jonava and visitors can enjoy another landscaped space in Jonava - Taurosta Park on the banks of the River Neris, which covers about 10 hectares of picturesque territory. New benches, even deckchairs for your convenience, will allow you to enjoy not only the view of the park, but also the flowing Neris River - some of them are arranged in such a way that the river bed can be seen right in front of them. Taurosta Park is an educational park where you can get even closer to nature and its knowledge. Here you will learn about the plants typical for the Lithuanian landscape and their distribution, as there are informative stands with plant names and descriptions, emphasising what makes them special for nature. Nesting boxes in the trees for various species of birds and bats. In addition, all the paths in the park are made of nature-friendly surfacing.
