Two nuggets of Buivydžiai village - St. George's Church and St. Florian's Chapel in the churchyard. The church, of light masonry and regular octagonal plan, impresses with its unique architecture. Its central dome and porch with columns and sculptures of saints add to its grandeur. In the churchyard stands the impressive Chapel of St Florian, formerly known as St Florian's Chapel. It is named after the Archangel Michael. The chapel's architecture resembles a tall but small square pyramid. This extraordinary two-building architectural ensemble has been recognised as a State cultural property.
