The wooden shrine, the Church of the Holy Virgin Mary in Šiaudinė, was built in 1775 by the then owner of the Šiaudinė estate, Rokas Godlevskis. Acquiring its current form in 1823, the sacred structure is one of the oldest examples of wooden architecture in Lithuania. Having avoided the flames of wars and uprisings, the Šiaudinė Church has preserved authentic facades, internal structures, and the interior from the early 19th century, along with movable cultural assets and the wooden belfry mentioned since 1851.
